Are you forced to cancel your holiday?
Cancelling a trip a few days before departure can be very expensive. You're paying for a holiday you won't enjoy, in fact if you cancel at the last minute, you lose the whole day.

Because emergencies happen when you least expect them, assistance and insurance policies exist to help you cope. Going on holiday requires a minimum of precautions to be taken before you leave.

Not taking out travel insurance is a false economy!
« But, I have déjà a crédit… » card. Only the top-of-the-range cards include insurance cover (cancellation, baggage, etc.). These cards, whose cover varies from one bank to another, generally have more limited cover than traditional travel insurance policies, and only cover the tax household. Taking out an insurance policy will enable you to effectively supplement the insurance included with your card.

Meetch will reimburse you 100% of the non-refundable cost of your stay (up to a maximum of 5,000€ per person and 20,000€ per event), excluding service charges and insurance costs.

This Multirisk package covers the following reasons:

  • Serious illness (including COVID-19), accident, décès
  • Serious damage to main or secondary residence

  • Cancellation of a work assignment

  • Arrêt of worksite
  • Obtainment of a job or work experience placement

What to do in the event of cancellation

  • Prévenir Gîtes de France® Moselle: The Insured; must inform Gîtes de France®  Réunion of his or her withdrawal as soon as the occurrence of the vévénement prevents his or her departure à resa@gites-de-france-reunion.com or 0230303056 . In the event of contact by telephone, the Insured must confirm his or her withdrawal by writing to Gîtes de France acknowledging receipt and providing the Insured with a cancellation account. This cancellation account is also forwarded to the insurance company.
  • Connect to : evasion.legal.meetch.io/gitesdefrance/ (identify yourself with your email address communicated at the time of booking) to make the refund request. Then complete the form as quickly as possible (within 5 days) Request for refund SA Evasion - Meetch cancellation insurance
  • You have taken out à MEETCH séday insurance, contract N°5942 (with supporting documents). MEETCH will reimburse you after examining your file.

Claim for compensation

  • To register your claim immediately, log on to :  (identify yourself with your email address communicated at the time of registration).
  • If you do not have internet access, contact us by post – MEETCH – 15 rue des halles – 75001 PARIS. The processing time is longer.

If you disagree or are dissatisfied with the implementation of your contract, we invite you to make this known to MEETCH by writing to reclamation@meetch.fr or by writing to MEETCH- Service Réclamations - 15 rue des Halles - 75001 PARIS for the Insurance coverages listed below:

✔ Day trip interruption expenses 

Meetch undertakes to acknowledge receipt of your letter within 10 working days. It will be processed within a maximum of two months.
